We are pleased to continue our partnership with the Scottish Wholesale Association (SWA) and host an informative webinar on the new legal duty requiring all UK employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.

This session is part of the SWA’s new initiative aimed at helping members embrace diversity and strengthen their commitment to fostering inclusive cultures within their businesses.

In this webinar we will cover what employers should be doing to comply with the new duty which has been in force since October 2024, what changes will be made to the new duty in the coming months (including in particular in relation to third party harassment), and provide actionable steps that businesses can take in 2025 and beyond to not only help with legal compliance but ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees.

The webinar will be chaired by Ylva Haglund, Head of Sustainability & Engagement at the SWA, with the practical legal update being provided by Jamie Meechan, Senior Associate in the employment team at Burness Paull.

A must attend for team leaders of all levels, including supervisors, managers and directors, along with HR professionals and business owners across the Scottish wholesale sector and its wider supply network.
