Financial Sector Horizon Scanning Webinar Recording
Aimed at in-house lawyers, compliance consultants and others immersed in the financial sector, this training session will provide an overview of the financial services landscape in the coming months, with consideration given to trends, challenges, legislative developments on the horizon, milestones and key dates for your diary.
Given the significance of the new Financial Services and Markets Act 2023 (FSMA 2023) for our diverse client base, in this session we cover major developments such as:
- changes introduced by FSMA 2023 including new obligations and accountability mechanisms;
- regulatory framework reform and the government’s delivery plan relating to the revocation of retained EU law; and
- other significant developments outside of FSMA 2023, such as the summer update to the Regulatory Initiatives Grid, sustainable finance and the latest position on the FCA’s Consumer Duty.
