Burness Paull lawyers working across the full range of commercial legal specialisms have been recognised by Chambers and Partners, the independent professional legal research company, in its latest rankings.

Since being founded in 1990, Chambers and Partners has been delivering detailed rankings and insights into the world's top lawyers, legal departments, and law firms. Following months of in-depth research, including interviews with peers and clients, Burness Paull’s lawyers achieved 41 practice area and 106 individual rankings.

The firm’s individual rankings include a growing group of established, highly regarded practitioners, as well as a strong cohort of lawyers judged to be ‘Up and Coming’ and ‘Associates to Watch’.

Peter Lawson, chair at Burness Paull, said: “The firm has consistently built upon our Chambers and Partners rankings, which are an important and independent hallmark, in recent years. This is testament to the expertise of our people and the market-leading, complex work they are undertaking for clients.

“We are grateful to our clients for continuing to trust us with business-critical issues, and to all those who provided feedback that contributes heavily to these rankings.”
