Derek is our Director of Business Services, he has overall responsibility for our business services and secretarial functions and sits on our Operations Board and our Respect and Inclusion Strategy Group too.
Our business services functions consist of Finance, IT, HR, Business Development & Marketing, Facilities, Innovation and Project Management.
Derek was our HR Director prior to being promoted to the new post of Director of Business Services on 1 August 2019. Derek joined Burness Paull in 2007 from Sportscotland, the national sports development agency. Derek spent most of his career prior to joining Burness Paull working in financial services for Scottish Life and Standard Life.
