Karen is a partner in the Construction & Projects team. Specialising in construction law, she is involved in a range of advisory work and has particular construction expertise in the education, housing, office, retail and leisure sectors.
She is a member of the firm’s Housebuilding team and heads up our multi-disciplinary Building Safety Group, advising clients on various building safety considerations as a result of the post Grenfell legislative changes.
Karen acts for a number of different type clients in both the private and public realm and also provides support to the wider firm on construction issues in property, funding and public/third sector transactions.
Karen has significant experience in the drafting and negotiation of relevant construction documentation including building contracts, consultant appointments and collateral warranties.
