Corinna joined Burness Paull in 2024 from the award-winning US Immigration firm, Olivia McLaren Ltd. and is a paralegal in our US immigration team. As an American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Affiliated Paralegal she works under the supervision of the U.S. Attorneys.
Prior to joining Burness Paull, Corinna worked as a US immigration paralegal since 2017 having worked in private client/trust administration for many years. She has extensive experience assisting the Attorneys who represent businesses and individuals in US immigration proceedings, including immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications, permanent residence applications and naturalization applications.
Corinna graduated with an LLB(Hons) in Scots Law from the University of Glasgow. She has completed the American Immigration Lawyers Association Paralegal Course and a CLS Barbri Advanced U.S. Legal Research and Writing course.
Corinna enjoys travelling and has spent a summer on a J-1 visa working on a summer camp in the United States. She also managed her family’s international move to Australia and back to Scotland.
Volunteering and working for an international charity she gained insight into issues around migrant support and enjoys helping individuals with their international moves, reuniting families, and helping businesses to access the U.S. market.
