Gemma is a director in the banking and funds team. She advises banks, corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, funds and investment trusts on a range of financing transactions, including real estate finance, leveraged and acquisition financing and fund financing, as well as working closely with leading City firms on the Sottish aspects of cross-jurisdictional lending transactions. Gemma also has significant experience in the hotel financing sector and on the Scots law aspects of securitisation transactions.
Gemma has robust commercial experience, having worked as a structuring advisor at abrdn plc, where she provided strategic debt advice to the plc’s investment teams in order to drive investment performance.
