Jonathan specialises in advising banks, corporates and private equity sponsors on all aspects of banking work including leveraged transactions, real estate finance and syndicated lending. He has also advised on a number of high-profile debt restructurings and insolvencies including the Kenmore Property Group.
He originally trained as a lawyer and worked at Bank of Scotland before spending several years at Clifford Chance in the City of London. While in London, he also enjoyed secondments to Barclays Capital and Barclays Leveraged Finance. Jonathan is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
