Julie is a director in our Dispute Resolution division. She has over 20 years’ experience in dispute resolution with a broad commercial dispute practice in both the Sheriff Courts across Scotland and the Court of Session.

Julie focusses on the resolution of complex contractual disputes including M&A, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes and employment/service contract related disputes, Real Estate disputes (particularly for developers and commercial landlords/tenants), insolvency and debt recovery. She represents a diverse range of clients with extensive experience in the energy, property & infrastructure and technology sectors.

Qualified in both Scottish and English Law, Julie is a member of our English Law Disputes team and has particular expertise in Companies Act applications including applications for extensions of time to register a charge.

Julie is a member of the Society of Advocates in Aberdeen, the Property Litigation Association, Grampian Area Insolvency Practitioners’ Group, R3 and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
