Rob is a Director in the firm's leading Private Client division. He regularly advises individuals and families on the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and trusts. He is particularly experienced in the management of complex and contentious executries assisting executors and beneficiaries in the administration of estates. His client portfolio includes business owners, entrepreneurs, farmers and retired clients mainly in the Lothians and the Borders. Rob also advises the Trustees of Group Life Assurance schemes in relation to their duties and responsibilities in relation to lump sum death-in-service determinations. Through his strong network of accountants, financial planners and investment managers he often connects clients to support the development of their succession planning and wealth management strategies.
Rob is a full member (TEP - Trust & Estate Practitioner) of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
